We yearn to be rational

Hi!

I'm writing today because you've surely heard something about the crisis which is going through in those hard times.
Nothing to say about the politician's behaviors, but actually about the market's developments.

Each of us remarked a heavy fall of world's bourses, due to the intense selling activities registered by national's indexes. Well, I'd like to question the human self-given-attribute of "rational".

The matter, to my opinion, is really simple, the world in which we find ourselves is that one :

1- if we sell in the financial world, we'll have repercussions on economies, works, politics and last but not least, society.
2- we cannot buy endlessly, cos our resources are limited.
3- the financial world can be considered a mass which follows itself and world's facts.

Then I say, let's put this : why don't we make a deal in which we can -reassuming- say : "Ok, we know there is this crisis, we know something bad happened, we know that if we starting to sell regardlessly, then, why don't we decide to freeze the market as it is, or at least, to decide to not start a chain of sells, or even, to don't care about the claims of a political leader and simply to continue to pursue our wealth?".

This would be a logic and posed reaction, which wouldn't damage anyone.

But instead of this, the financiers continue to don't care, and to follow like blinds their own fears, putting anyone of us in troubles. We're seeing what is happening in Greece, and we also saw what happened in the others world's bourses! Like a domino games, each one follows the next, and everyone of us is falling with them. That's stupid, mostly because WE KNOW how market works, it's rules and consequences, but still, we refuse to be market's owner and apparently we'd like to be market's slaves.
...And the mankind is supposed to be a rational being...
